Origal built as a barge lighter CARBON for the Dundee, Perth & London Shipping Co. Ltd., Dundee, by the Dundee Shipbuilders Co. Ltd., also from Dundee.
131 grt / 74 nrt / O.N.:118739.
Ship's history:
In 1947 converted into a TSHD by te Tay Sand Co. Ltd.
In 1920 Original engine (CD2cyl - 9, 15 x 16in), 15 nhp by Cooper & Greig Ltd., replaced by the 18 nhp, 1899 built by Lobnitz & Co.
In 1940 Admiralty requisition for war time services on the Forth was rejected due to insufficient power
In 1954 broken up at St. David's by Jas. A. White & Co. Ltd.
